Is it possible to reserve a seat?

It is not possible to reserve a seat at the time of booking. Seats will be assigned when you check in at the airport. We will respect everyone’s specific needs and requests as much as possible.

Do you have accessible seats for people with special needs?

Since it is not possible to reserve a seat at the time of booking, Arctic Fresh Inc. will assign seats based on the specific needs of each individual.

The carrier will offer a person with a disability the most accessible seat on the aircraft.

What are your policies regarding the transportation of personal wheelchairs or mobility aids?

Whatever type of support you require, Arctic Fresh Inc. will find the optimal solution to accommodate you.

Arctic Fresh Inc. will carry the following mobility aids as priority baggage, preferably in the cabin:

  • a wheelchair (except when the aircraft configuration does not allow the carriage of this mobility aid);
  • a walker, cane, crutches or braces
  • a device that assists in communication; and/or
  • any prosthesis or small medical device.

Do you accept service and emotional support animals?

The carrier will accept service and emotional support animal that is accompanying a person with a disability as long as the animal is properly harnessed and certified in writing that it has been trained by a professional service animal training organization.

The carrier will allow the service and emotional support animal to accompany the person on board the aircraft and to remain at the person’s feet at the passenger seat or, if there is insufficient space at the passenger seat, in an area where the person can still exercise control over the service animal.

The carrier will avoid separating people with disabilities from their service animal.

What are your policies regarding pregnant women?

In the interest of their health and safety, women who are 36 weeks or more pregnant will not be allowed to travel with us. Pregnant women, with an uncomplicated pregnancy, who are less than 36 weeks pregnant (or more than 4 weeks away from their due date) may travel with us, on condition that they provide a valid medical certificate issued less than 72 hours before departure.

Can I carry my infant (child under 2 years old) on my lap?

Children under 24 months of age will be allowed to travel on an adult’s lap, when accompanied by a passenger of at least twelve (12) years of age. However, Arctic Fresh Inc. considers the infant as a passenger and the standard fare applies to all passengers regardless of age.

The adult must keep the infant on their lap for the duration of the flight, including takeoff, landing and when the seat belt sign is on.

A birth certificate may be required as proof of age for a child under two (2) years old.

Do you accept unaccompanied minors?

Unaccompanied children between the ages of 8 and 11, inclusively, will be permitted to travel on network flights subject to the following conditions:

  1. the child is brought to the airport by a parent or responsible adult who must confirm that the child will be met at the destination by another adult and provide contact information for said adult.
  2. the child is in possession of satisfactory proof of age at the time of travel;
  3. the child has written information indicating the name and address of the responsible adult(s) who will meet the child at the destination;
  4. before the child is released to the responsible adult who will be meeting the child, the agent must obtain formal identification and signature of the responsible adult.

Arctic Fresh Inc. will not assume any financial or guardianship responsibility for unaccompanied children, other than for adult passengers.

Children between the ages of 12 and 17 are considered adults in the booking.

Baggage

Can I travel with alcohol and medication?

No drugs or alcohol will be accepted on board. In the case of medication, a verification could be done.

In case of doubt, Arctic Fresh Inc. reserves the right to search and refuse a passenger and/or their baggage. In the event that a baggage is refused, it must remain at the departure airport.

Can I travel with a pet?

We understand that you may want to travel with your pet, so we have a flexible approval policy. To reserve a space for your pet and validate the weight available, please contact our customer service team at 1-867-975-1136.

The following price will apply to any additional baggage (your pet and its cage) exceeding the 40 lbs allowance per person: $4.75 + taxes per excess lbs.

What is the baggage allowance?

At Arctic Fresh Inc., we allow our customers the freedom to distribute the weight of their baggage. Each passenger is allowed 40 lbs of baggage per person including the carry-on bag, one personal item and one checked baggage.

Can I make a last minute booking?

It’s possible to book a flight online here up to 3 hours before departure.

It’s also possible to book your flight up to 2 hours before departure by phone at 1-867-975-1136.

If you wish to come to the airport to book your flight, you may do so 2 to 3 hours before departure. Please take into consideration that during busy periods, it is possible that there are no seats available. We strongly advise you to book in advance online or by phone. Otherwise please come in in-person 2 hours before the flight departure.

No seats will be sold less than 60 minutes before departure.

Can I change my reservation?

Thanks to our flexible policy, our passengers are allowed to modify their reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the flight, depending on availability.

If you wish to change your flight less than 48 hours before its departure, fees may apply.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Thanks to our flexible policy, our passengers are allowed to cancel their reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the flight.

For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure, the amount will be transferred to a travel credit that can be used to make a new reservation.

Any cancellations made after the departure time, is non refundable.

Will there be service on board?

Since the flight is only 2.5 hours long, we have put together a variety of snacks (granola bars, chips, etc.) and non-alcoholic beverages that will be available to you throughout your flight.

What payment methods are accepted at the airport and online?

We only accept credit cards as payment at the airport and online. A receipt will be sent to you by email.

What identification and documents do I need for my flight?

To ensure an optimal experience, we ask that you present yourself at the airport with the following documents:

  • Official government issued identification cards with photos (Medicare card, driver’s license, passport, Nunavut resident card, etc.)
  • Booking confirmation (printed or mobile).
What languages will be spoken at the airport and in flight?

Check-in agents and in-flight crew members will be able to assist you in English and French.

Check-in will take place in person at the airport.

How early should I arrive at the airport for my flight?

We encourage our passengers to arrive at least 1 hour before their scheduled departure time. Boarding takes place 30 minutes before departure.

Will I receive flight updates?

Flight updates will be available at the airport counter.

When you make your reservation, you will also have the option of receiving email updates.
